- Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA) refers to a surcharge applied by electricity generation companies that use crude oil as fuel. This charge varies based on the current cost of fuel, causing the FPA to rise or fall in response to changes in fuel prices.
- GST
- General Sales Tax (GST) accounts for 17% of your total bill. For example, if your total bill is Rs. 2000, the GST portion would be Rs. 340.
- T.R Surcharges
- Tariff Rationalization (TR) represents the tariff gap managed by NEPRA and the Government of Pakistan (GOP). It ensures uniform tariff rates across the country while helping to reduce overall subsidy costs. Each electric supply company has its own specific TR rates.
- F.C Surcharges
- Financial Cost (F.C.) Surcharges are applied to help repay loans and are charged to all consumers of every electricity supply company. The F.C. Surcharge rate is 0.43 Rs per unit, meaning that if you consume 100 units, an additional 43 Rs will be added to your total bill as F.C. Surcharges.
- T.V Fee
- Every consumer is required to pay a fixed amount of 35 Rs as part of the total bill, regardless of whether they have a TV connection or not. This charge is primarily levied to raise funds for Pakistan Television (PTV).
- Quarterly Tariff Adjustment(QTA)
- The Quarterly Tariff Adjustment (QTA) is the fee applied to your bill every three months. This adjustment reflects changes in costs or rates set by the service provider.
